What Is Color Masterbatch?

Color Masterbatch is a concentrated mixture of pigments or dyes uniformly dispersed in a PE or PP carrier resin. It is the most versatile and widely used method of colouring plastics — delivering precise, consistent colour at low dosage rates across blown film, injection moulding, blow moulding, pipe extrusion, and raffia applications.

At Stylex International, we offer three colour pathways: standard running colours available from stock, fully custom colours matched to your Pantone, RAL, or physical sample, and special effect shades including pearlescent, metallic, and fluorescent finishes. All grades are engineered for excellent heat stability, dispersion, and compatibility with LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, and PP.

For brand owners launching new product lines, we work with your design team to develop and lock in proprietary brand colours — consistent across all your packaging and product components.

Sample-to-Approval Process

We supply trial samples for colour approval before full production — ensuring the colour is correct on your machine, in your resin, and at your dosage rate before you commit to volume.

03 Special Effect Colours

Beyond solid colours, we manufacture a range of special effect masterbatches that add premium visual appeal to plastic products — creating eye-catching aesthetics that differentiate your product on shelf and justify higher price points.

Effect Types
Pearlescent Metallic Fluorescent Glitter
🪞

Pearlescent

Mica-based pearl pigments create a soft, iridescent shimmer that shifts with viewing angle — widely used in personal care packaging, cosmetic containers, and premium consumer goods.

Metallic

Aluminium or bronze flake pigments deliver a bold metallic finish — giving injection moulded and blown film products the look of brushed or shiny metal without the cost or weight.

💡

Fluorescent

High-intensity daylight fluorescent pigments produce vivid, glowing colours visible from a distance — ideal for safety products, sports equipment, agricultural markers, and eye-catching retail packaging.

🌟

Glitter & Sparkle

Cosmetic-grade and industrial glitter particles encapsulated in a carrier resin — adding a sparkling visual effect to toys, stationery, packaging films, and decorative consumer products.
